I picked this game up in a book I read a long time ago. Recently someone looked up the post I wrote in 2006 on another blog of mine. 

Here’s a game to help you focus on what is important in life:

You’ve won a competition and the prize money is $86,400 a day
The money is deposited on your account the moment you wake up every morning.
You only have 24 hours to spend it.
You can’t put it into a savings account or invest it.
You can’t transfer the leftovers to the next day
The prize givers have the right to withdraw the prize at any moment they like without notice.

The Book of Eli

Last Night I finally watched ‘The Book of Eli’. It was a little bit bloody for my taste, but I did enjoy it and didn’t fall asleep once. I was delighted to hear Reverend Al Green singing ‘How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?’, which must be one of the saddest songs of all time. It got me thinking about how lonely it would feel if the world was wrecked by an apolyptical event.


Denzel Washington is a great actor and, as always, Gary Oldman is the perfect baddie!
