Grey's Anatomy

 I haven’t watched TV for a few weeks. When Dom and J-M visited in May she lent me the first 7 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy. Once I started watching I couldn’t stop. It brought me up to speed with the later episodes that I have seen on TV in the past. (Confusing? I know what I mean).

Some bloggers come, some bloggers go and some come back again.

A few years ago there was a blog called Newtron News which I was interested in. An Englishman, who lives in Germany, taught English and also plays the guitar. He had a great lesson website too, which I sometimes used for my lessons. I bought his album from eBay when it was released. Then he disappeared, which was a pity. He turned up again on LinkedIn and has made a great video of one of his songs….

I heard this a while ago and decided that this would be my Christmas offering.  Brad Paisley was only 12 or 13 when he wrote this song.  Have a Happy Christmas.

We saw the last episode of series 2 last night. On French TV they put 5 episodes on every Saturday evening. Usually we don’t sit though anything on TV longer than an hour without falling asleep. We stayed awake till one in the morning, lapping up every drop!

I know that Keifer Sutherland was very involved in the project. He must be so disappointed to see it disappear. It’s refreshing to see a series about people doing good and helping each other. We loved David Mazouz as Jake, We’ll be looking out for him in the future.

Three years ago I wrote a short story 'I Can Fly'.  It was based on dreams I had when I was a child.

The I found someone who really flies....

The part that gives me goosebumps

And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.

 Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.

 Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.

 Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.

 Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.

 But not only that:

 Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.

From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

 Free at last! Free at last! 

Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!
