At day break,
A Very Important person
Made a speech
From the Scene of the Crime.
It was difficult to listen to:
The birds started singing.
A blue tit proclaimed
From a high branch.
Then the frogs joined in.
Perhaps the message should be,
Life goes on…

A poem that gives serious food for thought. I have tried writing poems but have not written any in awhile. I need to give it a go again soon.
